In the Christmas bakery...

What would Christmas be without gingerbread, Christmas stollen, and of course, homemade cookies? The baking season starts no later than December, because these small, colorful treats are an essential part of Advent and really get us in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas time means cookie time. At our house, baking cookies together during Advent has almost become a tradition. Especially for my children, there's nothing better during Advent than sneaking a taste of cookie dough between cutting out shapes and decorating cookies with colorful sprinkles. Anyone with children knows that it has to be uncomplicated and simple so it doesn't end in complete baking chaos.

That's one more reason why I pull out my grandma's recipe every year. They're my absolute favorite cookies. They're quick, easy, and always taste delicious. Today I want to share my grandma's secret recipe with you, and I hope you have lots of fun trying them out and enjoying them!

I've also linked some useful and beautiful baking utensils below that make baking child's play, even for beginners in the kitchen like me.

Grandma's cookies

650 grams of flour

100 grams of Mondamin

175 grams of sugar

4-5 eggs

250 grams of Sanella

2 packets of vanilla sugar

1 packet of baking powder

1. Put the eggs and butter in a bowl and beat until frothy.

2. While stirring, add the sugar and mix everything together.

3. Now add all the dry ingredients and knead the dough well.

4. Quickly roll out the dough and cut out the cookies.

5. Bake the cookies at 190 degrees for 12 minutes until golden brown.

6. Now the cookies can be decorated as desired.

Please let me know how you and your loved ones liked the cookies!
