Find your style!

In this blog post, I'd like to recommend my dear friend and talented stylist, Mareike, who uses her keen sense to help her clients discover and perfect their individual style. If you're looking to find your own look, you're in excellent hands with her!

Who are you?

I am Mareike, an identity stylist, fashion consultant and personal shopper. I have had a passion for fashion and styling for as long as I can remember. Even as a child, I was strongly influenced by my mother’s distinctive way of dressing. I was fascinated by how she always had her own personal sense of style, never followed trends and always looked unique and radiated confidence.

Before focusing entirely on identity styling, I worked in marketing at companies including Mercedes-Benz, Deutsche Telekom and Lufthansa, as well as at well-known agencies, with a focus on working with celebrities. I then became a manager and stylist for international fashion designer Marina Hoermanseder, focusing on brand strategy and organising shows at Berlin Fashion Week. I now devote myself full time to my passion as an identity stylist, working with companies, private clients and celebrities.

What exactly do you do?

I am not a conventional stylist. I have made it my mission to help people find their true style and connect it with their personality. This goes far beyond traditional style advice. For me, fashion is a means of expression that helps people project confidence and authenticity. Together with my clients, we find the perfect style identity combined with their ideal colours. Behind this is a complex system that I spent a year and a half learning.

What does working with you look like?

Based on a detailed colour and style analysis, I identify the ideal colour and style type. As part of this service, my clients receive a tailored mood board with inspiration, make-up recommendations and a colour guide. The package is available in individual and group sessions in person, or in individual online sessions.

Ideally, personal shopping follows. This is especially exciting because it puts what we have learned into practice. The client enjoys a personalised shopping experience based on their individual style and colour type. We explore shops and fashion brands that help my client find the perfect pieces to emphasise their personal style. This service can be booked in person or online.

For an online session, my client sends me photos in advance so that I can determine their Raro type and subtype from them. We discuss the results together on a video call. My client receives a digital colour guide and a mood board with outfit inspiration and, on request, an individual shopping list with links to every item, making it easy and convenient to shop online.
