Let's get cozy
During the colder months, we spend a lot of time at home, making it all the more important to make it really cozy. I've put together my favorite interior pieces for October.
Snuggled up on the sofa with a book, sipping my favorite tea, and listening to the crackling fire in the fireplace in the background. I love making myself really cozy at home in winter, while it's dreary, dark, and cold outside. It doesn't take much to transform your home into a place of comfort and relaxation. Just a few small changes and new decorative items can make a big difference.
Blankets and cushions are a great way to add a touch of style, and fluffy, cozy cushions instantly make a sofa feel more inviting. Warm earth tones create a warm and homey atmosphere. Candles also add to the cozy ambiance. I particularly love Diptyque scented candles. I saw them burning in a showroom in Paris 15 years ago, and they've been my absolute favorites ever since, especially the Baies fragrance.
To make the coffee table look less empty, you can combine a few coffee table books with a vase or bowl and candles; it always looks nice.
To warm myself from the inside out during the cold season, I love drinking Aveda tea. But I can also wholeheartedly recommend Kusmi teas.
