Holly Davies Coaching
This year, I started personal coaching with Holly Davies. Because of my herniated discs and the accompanying back pain, I chose strength training to specifically strengthen my back and abdominal muscles and help address my symptoms.
Holly offers personal training at her studio in Berlin, but she has also substantially expanded her online coaching business over the past two years. I can imagine Holly helping you improve your fitness, too.
Holly, please tell us a little about yourself.
I have been self-employed as a personal trainer for six years. My decision to support women in achieving their fitness goals grew out of my own fitness journey and passion for sport. I have now been training for twelve years and have gained a great deal of experience in training, nutrition and mindset during that time.
How did you get into online coaching?
I had never imagined working online, as personal training had made me very accustomed to working with clients in person. During the pandemic, many things were no longer possible, which opened up the opportunity to support women through a platform, regardless of their location. I work very closely with my online coaching clients and am grateful to be able to help as many women as possible in this way.
What is the difference between personal training and online coaching?
In personal training, I usually support one person through one to three sessions a week to help them work towards their fitness and health goals. I create a training plan tailored to their personal goal and pay attention to every detail of their technique during a 60-minute session. These sessions take place at my gym in Berlin, which means my clients and I are tied to that location.
In online coaching, by contrast, I provide intensive, individual support through my app, where clients receive their training and nutrition plans. After an initial conversation, I create these plans individually for each client and make sure they fit well into their everyday life. Weekly check-ins and regular conversations in the app’s chat keep me up to date and help me keep my clients on track.
How do you apply for online coaching?
In principle, anyone can apply. I support women with different goals, from losing weight and toning up to building muscle or improving their general fitness.
You can register for online coaching through my website. The link is also on my Instagram profile, where I regularly share tips on nutrition, training and mindset.
